The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Center for Community-Based Research is committed to research aimed at reducing the cancer risk and minimizing disparities in cancer risk. Our research aims to:
• promote behaviors that reduce cancer risk
• reduce potential exposures that increase cancer risk
• modify social policies to reduce cancer risk
• increase access to and comprehension of cancer risk information.

We seek to improve the efficacy of cancer prevention communications and interventions by embedding them within the social context in which people live and work.
